Current and aspiring homeschool families! GROW Enrichment is excited to invite you to a Homeschool Enrichment Open House on Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
GROW's 14 acres of outdoor education space at Two Rivers Regional Park is uniquely situated, making use of a sliver of wilderness among the urban landscape. Join us in nature in the middle of the city!
At the Open House, Children and caregivers can go on a guided hike through Nashville's first Food Forest, viewing an array of native food-producing plants. Afterward, explore the grounds and classroom space, enjoy activities including plant identification and crafts, and learn about GROW's long-term vision for the future of nature education. All families are invited to bring a blanket and picnic lunch to enjoy afterward!
The guided hike with Executive Director Ginger-Rose Krueck will take off from the GROW site promptly at 9:20 a.m. and last approximately 30 minutes.
GROW Enrichment is focused on providing nature-based education and ecology knowledge to children ages 3-12 and beyond, fostering a love of nature and passion for conservation in the earth's next generation of stewards. Our Urban Ecology programs build confidence in nature through positive experiences, active learning, and collaborative outdoor play.
Programs for ages 3-12 are currently enrolling, with plans to add wilderness survival courses for kids 13+ in the near future. Exciting things are happening for GROW, and we want you to come on the journey with us.
GROW Enrichment is about creating true community between people and nature. Come commune and GROW with us!
