Are you a finance whiz with a passion for community development and environmental conservation? GROW Enrichment is looking for a numbers guru to help manage our resources and support Nashville's first public food forest. Bring your integrity and expertise to our team!
GROW Enrichment is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization cultivating a movement toward sustainable land use and increased food security for Nashville. We provide sustainability-focused education to both children and adults at our project site within Two Rivers Park. GROW offers programs aimed at increasing awareness and protection of native species, promoting conservation of earthβs resources, teaching skills to cultivate land in our urban landscape, and providing positive experiences in nature. Our programs serve all ages and demographics through homeschool enrichment, community outreach programs, individual and corporate volunteer opportunities and training, and public school field trips. As the stewards of Nashville's first food forest, we're passionate about harnessing the power of nature to nourish our community and educate current and future generations.
GOALS
π INNOVATIVE IMPACT: Help secure funding for initiatives that positively impact urban landscapes and support sustainability initiatives.
π EDUCATIONAL EMPOWERMENT: Join us in providing high-quality environmental science education to students in Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS), homeschoolers, and the wider community. Our project site isn't just a park β it's a living classroom where immersive learning comes to life.
π STEWARDSHIP IN ACTION: Step in as a caretaker of our public park space and engage with volunteers, community members, and park visitors to make sure our green oasis continues to thrive for years to come.

ROLE OVERVIEW
Joining GROW Enrichment means being part of a passionate team dedicated to creating positive change in our community and the environment. As board treasurer, you will play a vital role in managing our financial resources and supporting our mission of urban landscape optimization and conservation. Board member positions are a two-year commitment with varying monthly hours depending on need. Our nonprofit board is volunteer-based, and thrives on the generous commitment and vision of its members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work alongside the executive director to create and manage the budget for the operational side of our organization.
2. File annual paperwork to maintain our 501(c)(3) status.
3. Oversee general money management responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Degree in Business Finance or Accounting.
2. Ability to create internal structures for managing organizational resources and assets.
3. Demonstrated integrity and transparency in financial management.
